Hello from TorpIKE club Romania.

We are a YMCA Transylvania project, who is organizing programs for children with social problems, from poor and mono-parental families. The children coming to this club are aged 9 to 15 and are going to different schools in Cluj-Napoca (Transylvania).

Our goals are:

Christian education and mission,

helping the children in their psychological and physical development for a better accommodation and social integration,

preventing drug and alcohol abuse and school abandon. 

We are having our programs every Saturday during the school time. The programs offers a great variety and is very colorful, containing: bible study, handicrafts, games, sports, drama, outdoor activities and also camps during summer time.

The persons who are working at this project are volunteers (social workers, teachers and students).
